Role Overview

We are looking for a Consultant- Cyber Security to join our team in HSR Layout,

Bangalore. This is a client-facing role that involves understanding business risks,

regulatory requirements, and security challenges, and providing customized solutions

leveraging Mitigata’s cybersecurity, compliance, and cyber insurance offerings. You will

play a crucial role in guiding clients, offering expert advice, and collaborating with partners to

deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation & Engagement

1. Conduct meetings with clients to assess their cybersecurity, compliance, and cyber insurance needs.
2. Identify cyber risks and propose tailored cyber insurance solutions to protect against financial loss.
3. Provide expert guidance on compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, DPDP Act, GDPR, RBI guidelines, etc.).
4. Help clients assess and strengthen their cybersecurity posture and risk

Management strategies.

Solutioning & Product Advocacy

1. Explain Mitigata’s offerings in Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Cyber Insurance and how they help businesses mitigate risks.
2. Work closely with internal teams and partners to design and deliver the best solutions for clients.
3. Conduct product demos, presentations, and workshops to showcase Mitigata’s capabilities.
4. Assist clients in understanding cyber insurance policies, coverage details, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

1. Gather business and technical requirements from clients and document them for solution planning.
2. Work with internal teams to translate client needs into actionable insurance policies, compliance strategies, and security measures.
3. Assist in drafting proposals, proof of concepts (POCs), and reports for client Engagements.

Industry Awareness & Continuous Learning

1. Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, compliance regulations, and cyber

insurance trends.

1. Monitor regulatory changes and their impact on businesses across industries.
2. Represent Mitigata in industry forums, conferences, and webinars to strengthen

market presence.

Key Skills & Qualifications

1. Experience: 2+ years in cybersecurity, compliance consulting, cyber insurance advisory, or related fields.
2. Cyber Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of cyber insurance policies, risk assessments, and claims handling.
3. Compliance & Security Expertise: Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR,DPDP Act, RBI guidelines, and cybersecurity frameworks.
4. Client-Facing Experience: Strong skills in consulting, pre-sales, solutioning, and client engagement.
5. Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills – ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
6. Collaboration Skills: Experience working with internal teams, cyber insurance providers, security vendors, and clients to deliver tailored solutions.
7. Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to map client challenges to customized solutions across cybersecurity, compliance, and insurance.
